At The Social Hub, Pride is more than an event. It’s part of who we are and what we stand for every day, amplifying the voices and experiences of our LGBTQIA+ community members to create a more inclusive society for everyone. That’s exactly why we take our Pride programming, educational initiatives – ahem, and partying – incredibly seriously, bringing truly impactful and unforgettable experiences to our hubs across Europe.   
 
From glittering bingo parties and queer comedy shows to Ball workshops, panel discussions, Pride walks and more, we’re taking Pride 2024 to the next level with inclusive events and activities throughout June, July and August – all open to the public. So, whether you’re soaking up the sun in San Sebastián or taking a breather in Bologna, our events are the perfect opportunity to wave your rainbow flag and show some solidarity.

Queens Brunch 

The Social Hub Barcelona

After our monthly Queer Prana Yoga session with Kirill Slobodianiuk, we’ll be hosting a Queens Brunch with our Vienna ambassador, diversity and inclusion expert Stéphane Magloire. From 1pm you’ll experience expert performances by three talented Queens, accompanied by DJ sets and a delicious Mexican brunch menu on our rooftop.

We Create Space Awards 

The Social Hub Barcelona

The annual We Create Space Awards recognise queer leaders using their platforms, profile and skills to drive change and make the world a more inclusive place for LGBTQIA+ people. This year, the awards and Pride Gala will be hosted by Barry Brandon and Kari Serrano at The Social Hub Barcelona in collaboration with La Cambra and Pride Barcelona, followed by a panel discussion and gala evening on our rooftop.

Roundtable with the Gehitu LGBTQIA+ association 

The Social Hub San Sebastián

This inclusive roundtable discussion is held in collaboration with the Gehitu association, a non-profit organisation focused on securing fundamental rights for the LGBTQIA+ community in the Basque Country. During the event, prominent members of Gehitu will share their unique experiences and perspectives, inviting the audience to participate in the discussion in a safe, welcoming space.

Madrid Pride Week

A joint effort between our Spanish hubs in Barcelona, Madrid and San Sebastián, Pride Week at The Social Hub Madrid promises several days of exciting activities and activations, culminating in the capital’s famous Pride Parade. Alongside local ambassadors and key figures of the LGBTQIA+ scene, expect high-heel workshops, live podcasts, curated dinners, pre-parade drag shows and lots of self-expression.

The Netherlands 

Pride Eindhoven

The Social Hub Eindhoven

Pride Eindhoven bursts to life on 8 June with a Parade and the Pride Vibes Festival. The night before (7 June), we’ll be hosting one of Jess Øberlin’s world-famous KARAJØKE parties before kicking off a full programme of activities that will continue through the following week. Events include a talk about Eindhoven’s queer history, a session on queer safety within nightlife (in collaboration with Nacht Collectief Eindhoven) and a gym & tonic workout session.

Roze Zaterdag & Pride

The Social Hub Groningen

To celebrate the oldest Pride event in the Netherlands, Roze Zaterdag (Pink Saturday), The Social Hub Groningen will be hosting a fabulous variety of LGBTQIA+ events and activities throughout the month. Pride Pink Saturday itself takes place on 22 June, when the city streets will be transformed into a colourful mishmash of music, costumes and performances by the likes of House of Vineyard and Willeke Alberti.

TRANSformation with Man.ish Cave

The Social Hub Amsterdam West

This series of two panel discussions will be held in collaboration with Man.ish Cave, a Black and people of colour trans-masculine centred grassroots organisation. Experts in offering peer support and empowerment for trans-masculine, non-binary people and masculine presenting cis women, these talks will focus on everything from lived experiences and gender expression to reclaiming connection with your body.

Pride University

The Social Hub Amsterdam City

Each year, our flagship hotel transforms into The Pride Hub and hosts Pride University, an educational programme tackling LGBTQIA+ topics of all shapes and sizes in collaboration with the city’s leading educational institutes, including e.i. VU, HvA, Inholland, UvA and ROCvA. Throughout the week, we’ll be offering workshops, masterclasses and interactive lectures spanning the whole LGBTQIA+ spectrum.

To challenge the gender constructs of traditional Burlesque – where women typically perform for men – our ambassador in Florence, Sylvie Bovery, is introducing a brand-new concept: ‘Queerlesque’.
